AWC 2025 - Follow Along

In 2023, Agi and I competed at our very first Agility World Championship, and we had an amazing performance together. Despite one single knocked brick on the wall in the team jumping, we ran the rest of the courses clean. We ended up winning the agility team run, placing second in the individual jump run and second in the individual agility run. So, with those results combined, we became World Champions in individual small! It was an unforgettable moment, especially with so many of my closest people there to share it with!
Besides that, we’ve competed at several major championships, earning podiums or medals at most of them. In 2023, we won an individual agility run at the European Open, in addition to becoming Nordic Champions for the first time. In 2024, we took individual bronze at EO, defended our Nordic title, and became Norwegian National Champions. This year, I chose not to attend EO due to various reasons – including the cost, since everything is self-funded... However, we successfully defended our Norwegian National title and are now preparing to defend our Nordic title again!
In other words, we’ve built a solid base of experience at big events and championships, and learned a lot about performing under pressure. Still, I believe agility is about much more than just good skills and a great partnership. You need a little bit of luck too. That said, I also believe that the better I prepare and the smarter choices I make on the way to a championship, the more likely it is that luck will be on our side! And that’s exactly what I plan to do heading into this year’s World Championship – and you will get a close look into all of it!
